Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (Nights)

Job Summary

Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process. Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards. Perform duties according to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to support patient- and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients
• Plan and implement nursing care based on patient and family needs
• Make appropriate interventions tailored to individual patient needs
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions
• Take personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Candidates can expect outreach within two hours and decisions typically by the same or next business day, unless requesting more than 7 days off, more than 50% of holidays off, or having negative background/employment history
• Dress code: Navy Blue
• Facility is a Level II Trauma Center with a busy Emergency Center
• Local travel policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility
