Description
ICU Registered Nurse (All Shifts) – Arizona, Tuba City
Position Type
- Contract
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Setting
- Primarily assigned to a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- May float to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatrics units as needed
- Provides nursing care to critically ill patients of all ages, including post-op recovery for general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients after hours
- Shared contractor housing provided (no pets or family allowed)
Location & Community
- Located in a culturally diverse, semi-desert region on the Colorado Plateau
- Serves a large rural area including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute Native American tribes
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Licensure
- Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Certifications (must be maintained throughout employment)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Additional Information
- Orientation sessions held every 2 weeks
- COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
- Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
