Job Opportunity: Technologist - Cardiovascular (Days)
Location: Towson, Maryland
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Job Description
Provide clinically relevant information to assist vascular surgeons with diagnosis and treatment of patients under limited supervision. Duties align with education, training, facility policies, and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Vascular Technologist
- Vascular Technologist experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
- Active certification as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) CCI
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Documentation Requirements
- Resume with explanations for any gaps over 30 days
- Two supervisory references: one from the last 6 months and one from the last 12 months
- Skills checklist specific to the technologist discipline
- Facility-specific cover page (provided if not available)
Additional Information
- Candidates may request time off equivalent to one week of contracted hours, either as a continuous block or separate days
- Overtime starts after 48 hours; includes 1.5x pay for OT, call back, and holidays
- Orientation sessions are scheduled up to 6 weeks in advance
