Description
Registered Nurse – LTAC ICU (Travel/Contract)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Unit Description
- High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) with 20 semi-private rooms, accommodating up to 40 patients.
- Patient population includes adults (18+) requiring care for acute brain injury, respiratory assistance, cardiac monitoring, complex medical conditions, and rehabilitation.
- Provides 24/7 respiratory care, diagnostics, medical treatment, and rehabilitation services.
- Focus on patients transitioning from acute care settings needing extended multidisciplinary treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) settings.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
