Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Days)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12


Job Description

  • Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR system.
  • Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime is billable after 40 hours.
  • Orientation schedule provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (Compact license allowed).
  • Minimum 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience within the last year.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • BLS certification.
  • Experience with deep cardiac care and cardiac drips.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome.
  • Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
  • Call back and on-call pay available.
  • Charge/preceptor pay available.

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
