Description
Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Hartsville, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Shift: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (with 30 min lunch), Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound and related testing on patients with suspected cardiovascular system disorders.
- Tests include echocardiography, EKG, carotid duplex scanning, and noninvasive peripheral (arterial and venous) vascular studies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with experience within the last year.
- Registered or registry eligible by ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT),
or by CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) and Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS). - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
