Registered Nurse - Surgery (Contract)

Location: Salida, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Surgical RN position in a scenic mountain town known for outdoor recreational activities including hiking, biking, skiing, and whitewater rafting.
Work schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Call duties are distributed equitably among staff.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum of 3 years OR Circulate experience, with at least some experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Certifications

ACLS
BLS/BCLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Hours per Week

40 hours (Five 8-hour shifts)

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
