Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery (General OR) - Day Shift

Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) per week
  • Rotating call schedule including both weekday and weekend call responsibilities, shared between two call groups
  • Holiday call rotation may be required if holidays fall during the assignment
  • Scheduling may vary based on patient census and staffing needs
  • May be required to float to surgery centers as needed
  • Use of Epic EMR system preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Ohio
  • Minimum of 3 years recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience with Epic EMR system

Additional Information

  • Total weekly hours: 36
  • Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract
  • All requested time off must be disclosed and approved at the time of submission to be honored
  • Start date depends on offer acceptance and must match contract documentation exactly

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
