Registered Nurse (Surgery) - Contract

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process in a Level III trauma center with multiple surgical specialties including Robotics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, OB-GYN, and more.

Work Schedule

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Rotating evening, night, and weekend call shifts
• Typically assigned 1 call weekend (Friday 7 PM to Monday 7 AM) and 4-5 weeknight call shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) per 8-week scheduling period

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum 3 years of OR Circulate experience, including experience within the last year
• OR Scrub RN experience
• Perioperative nursing experience
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
• Must comply with Colorado CAPS registration requirements (may take up to two weeks to obtain)
• Accurate Social Security Number and Date of Birth must be provided to avoid onboarding delays

Housing

Newly remodeled studio apartments available near the hospital for travelers during assignment (based on availability). Apartments include Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry, and are fully furnished. No pets allowed.

• Prior travel experience is required for this position.
• Surgical specialties covered include Robotics (Exactech, Mako, Stealth, DaVinci), General Surgery, Eyes, Orthopedics, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, Pediatrics, and Ortho/Spine Trauma.
