Required Qualifications

• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (chest X-ray within 2 years if positive TB responders).
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
• Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (October–April).
• COVID initial series or facility-specific declination required (annual boosters not required).
• Fit test for approved N-95 masks within 1 year, updated annually.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start.

Documentation and Compliance

• Employment application or resume required.
• Two professional references within 3 years.
• Annual updates required for skills checklist, background checks, and certain facility-specific documents.
• Facility-specific documents such as standards of conduct, dress code policy acknowledgment, notice of employment, standards of behavior, and agency checklist must be completed and updated if there is a gap of more than 30 days.
• Time-sensitive completion of orientation, safety, HIPAA, and fair warning quiz modules within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Drug testing plan must be in place and completed within facility-required timeframe.
