Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Portland, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Job Description

• Position requires floating between units based on needs.
• On-call required on weekdays and weekends; weekends not mandatory.
• Expected nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1.
• Cath lab experience is required.
• Vehicle is required for this assignment.
• Floating may include multiple nearby facilities within reasonable distance.
• Floating to certain locations may include additional incentives and accommodations.
• Facility type: Short Term Acute Care, teaching hospital with 536 staffed beds.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Parking: No fee.
• Scrub color: Any color allowed; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year required.
• Cath lab experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Additional Requirements

• Must complete annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
• Must complete Epic training modules as assigned.
• Fit mask testing required annually for travel starts.
• Float policy acknowledgment required; may be asked to float to other facilities within the region.
• Background checks include multiple components such as SSN trace, sex offender registry, education verification, and state-specific searches as applicable.
• Some state-specific attestations and searches may apply depending on placement location.
