Hospice RN - West Virginia

Location

City: Elizabeth, WV
Coverage Area: Harrison, Barbour, Upshur, Lewis, Taylor, Doddridge, Wetzel counties
Worksite: Patient homes and nursing facilities

Job Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Patients per day: 5-6 visits
Workload shared between 2 RNs
Uniform: Royal Blue scrubs
No weekend or holiday requirements

Patient Population

Terminally ill patients with diagnoses such as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, dementia, and other end-stage diseases

Required Qualifications

Current West Virginia RN license
BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 1 year hospice nursing experience
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred

Orientation

Training on EPIC and shadowing with another patient care team member

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
