Description

Technologist - Cath Lab

Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days


Job Description

  • Provide services in the Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory including:
    • Cardiac catheterization
    • Angiography
    • Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
    • Venography
    • Cardiac pacemaker insertions
    • Various non-vascular interventional procedures
  • Work with both inpatient and one-day outpatient services
  • Patient population primarily adult to geriatric
  • Trauma Level II facility
  • Electronic Medical Record system used: Paragon
  • Dress code requires hospital-provided procedural scrubs; no open outside clothing allowed in procedure rooms (e.g., sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Appropriate licensure for Technologist specialty (as applicable)

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
