Description

Registered Nurse - GI/Endoscopy

Location: Clarkston, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week with shared on-call rotation
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Provide nursing care in SSSU/PACU and float across the entire Outpatient Services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures.
Utilize strong GI/Endoscopy nursing skills.
Perform nursing assessments including peri-operative education and care.
Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
Minimum 1 year of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, including experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Gastroenterology experience.
Endoscopy experience.

Additional Information

Variable schedule with shared on-call rotation.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required.

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
