Description
Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Flint, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Wednesday to Friday
- Week 2: Thursday to Saturday
- Full-time (36 hours per week)
- No block schedules
Job Description
- Provide 1:1 patient care in the operating room
- Highly skilled in General, Neuro, Vascular, Orthopedic, Gynecology, and ENT surgical cases
- Knowledge of standard surgical equipment required
- Use of EPIC charting system
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma patients
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in Neurology, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, OB/GYN, and ENT Surgery

- CNOR certification is not required
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- Fingerprinting requirements apply only for Behavioral Health RN assignments, not this role
- COVID vaccination is preferred but not mandatory
- References are not required by the client but standard agency references should be collected
