Description
Cardiovascular Operating Room Tech
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Shift: 12-hour Days, with call (start times may vary)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting with heavy cardiac and open heart (OH) experience required.
- Call required approximately 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week (end of shift to 6:30 am).
- Floating required; travelers are the first to float and may be assigned to other nearby campuses within a 50-mile radius.
- Expected to integrate fully with the unit culture and function as core staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a CVOR with heavy cardiac/open heart cases.
- Prior travel experience required.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Additional Information
- All required demographic information (address, date of birth, social security number, license number) must be submitted at time of application; incomplete profiles will not be considered.
- Time off requests (RTO) must be submitted with application; no approvals after submission.
- Hard document submission deadline is the Monday prior to start date; no exceptions.
