Ultrasound Tech

Location: Seymour, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Shift: Night shift, Tuesday to Friday, 4:00 PM – Midnight
Shift length options: 7.5 or 9.5 hours (start time fixed at 4:00 PM)
Hours per week: 40 (4x10-hour shifts)
Floating within scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
ARDMS certification required
Valid Driver’s License must be submitted with application

Additional Information

Locals accepted within a 50-mile radius at local rate
Call-out restrictions: cannot call out if absence exceeds one week
Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech Expanse
Flu vaccine recommended but not required
COVID vaccination documentation preferred but not required

Notes

First-time travel clinicians may be considered depending on experience
Candidate must review and sign facility-specific confidentiality and eligibility documents

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
