Registered Nurse - PCU (Night Shift) - Texas, Wichita Falls
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night (3 or 4 shifts per week), 12 hours per shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed (84 hours biweekly with 72-hour guarantee)
- Start Date: Late September
- Unit: Primarily Medical-Surgical with floating required
- Electronic Health Record: Epic experience strongly preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current PALS certification
- CHEMO certification
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid Driver's License
- Prior travel nursing experience (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
