Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal
Location

Contract Length
- 13 weeks (includes 2-4 weeks of unit orientation)
Work Schedule
- Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (Monday-Friday)
- Day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or call required
- Day off during the week may vary based on staffing needs
- No floating requirements
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Ob/Gyn Sonographer experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification
- Active state license valid in Washington (compact license accepted)
Required Documentation and Background Checks
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education verification (degree/diploma/transcript as applicable)
- WA State Patrol Search within 90 days of start (required by state law)
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with explanations for gaps or overlaps
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit mask test (respirator clearance) required for travel candidates, updated annually
- Immunizations/vaccinations or documented declinations required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant tests acceptable)
Competency and Training Requirements
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (AWHONN or NCC-EFM) or Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring Assessment exam in Relias
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- Epic training modules completion required within a week of orientation

- Locals within 50 miles of Seattle are not eligible for this travel position
- Manager interviews all auto-offer candidates
- Compact license holders active in Washington are accepted
