Description

Med Surg RN (Full-Time Night Shift)

Location

Fairfield, Iowa

Employment Type

Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Full-time night shifts
12-hour shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Approximately 36 hours per week
Includes rotating weekends and holidays

Job Overview

Provide total patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs
Direct and guide patient teaching and ancillary personnel
Maintain professional nursing standards

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Experience

Experience preferred but not required

Additional Notes

All employment and health requirements must be completed and verified at least five business days before the contract start date to ensure timely onboarding

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
