Description

Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - General

Location

  • Charleston, South Carolina

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

  • Night shift, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)
  • 10-hour shifts: 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
  • No on-call required
  • No floating between buildings; all work is in-house at a single pediatric hospital

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience working with pediatric and neonate patients
  • Proficient in NEC (Neuroechocardiography) and TCD (Transcranial Doppler)
  • Experience with liver Doppler including all vessels
  • Experience with renal Doppler and renal transplant ultrasounds
  • Experience with extremity venous Doppler
  • Experience scanning for intussusception, pyloric stenosis, and appendix
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • ARDMS or ARRT certification required

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
