Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist - MRI (Days)

Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 10


Job Summary

  • Provide professional and clinical knowledge and skills in patient care and management as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
  • Work schedule includes 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours.
  • Required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.

Additional Information

  • Orientation scheduled to begin on August 17.
  • Night and weekend call-back and on-call pay rates apply (details withheld).
  • OT and holiday pay multipliers apply (details withheld).

Facility Trauma Levels in Region (for context)

  • Madison: Level 3 trauma center
  • Sioux City, Bettendorf, Fort Dodge: Level 3 trauma centers
  • Moline: Level 2 trauma center
  • Muscatine: Level 4 trauma center
  • Rock Island: Level 1 trauma center

This position does not require prior travel experience, but completion of at least one prior travel contract is preferred.

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
