Medical Surgical RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Hanover, Kansas
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift, 3x12 schedule: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Average patient census: 1 to 3 patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ASCP
- AART
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Documents and Compliance
- Unexpired government-issued photo ID
- Background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school for the past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- State license verification
- Nursys verification
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
- Competency exam
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunization documentation
- Drug screen within the last 12 months
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption using the facility-specific form
- 2 professional references within 3 years of start

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
