Unit Overview
- Fast-paced, high-acuity labor and delivery unit
- High-volume setting with more than 300 births per month
- Double labor assignments are a daily occurrence
- Float as needed to a high-risk OB maternity care unit
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience preferred for comfort on the unit; 3 years preferred
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Experience in a large, high-volume similar setting
- Experience with circulating
- Competent in sterile vaginal exams
- Competent in immediate newborn care
- BCLS
- AWHONN Intermediate
- NRP
Additional Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
- Locals are accepted
- Scrubs provided: blue
- Orientation: 24 hours
