Overview
- Travel position in Alexandria, Louisiana
- Full-time
- 13-week contract
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 2 positions available
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty
- 1 year of experience in a critical care setting
Schedule and Work Conditions
- Every other weekend required
- No call
- No floating
- 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available
Unit Details
- Mixed cardiac and medical ICU
- Patient types include DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator patients
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
Additional Notes
- New hires complete orientation and competency validation within the first 30 days
- Temp-to-perm is a possibility
