Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- IV Start capability
- Cardiac Drips - Titrate capability
Work Expectations
- Work every other weekend; consecutive weekends may be needed based on operational needs
- May be assigned unit charge nurse responsibilities with training and resources provided
- May be expected to float to Med-Surg, PCU, or ICU with resources provided
- Refusal to float may result in termination of contract
- Call-ins must be made up during the pay period when possible, or added to the end of the contract depending on FTE status
Compliance and Health Requirements
- COVID vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted with a doctor’s note
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- TB screening within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation required
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination required
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask testing within 12 months of start
- Color blind testing required
- References from recent employment required
- Employment application and skills checklist required
- Background check and license verification required before start
- Orientation safety acknowledgment and facility-specific onboarding documents required
