Description

Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location

Fort Defiance, Arizona

Employment Type

Contract

Schedule

  • 12-hour day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Must be flexible to take other shifts as needed
  • Typical rotation is 7 days on, 7 days off
  • Weekly hours alternate between 36 and 48
  • May need to float to other departments if qualified

Unit Overview

  • Emergency department with main ED, fast track, and observation areas
  • Nurses rotate through multiple areas and may be assigned to triage, quick registration, COVID tent, and entry screening
  • May also assist with COVID testing and immunization clinics as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of ED - Emergency Department experience
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • PALS or ENPC issued by American Heart Association
  • TNCC
  • Conscious Sedation

Additional Notes

  • Returning traveler posting
  • Maximum of 1 week of requested time off, if needed
  • Shift assignments may change during the contract based on staffing needs

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
