Registered Nurse (RN) — Operating Room
Location
- Sioux City, Iowa
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Temporary assignment
Schedule
- 8 hours per day
- Orientation is scheduled on multiple dates throughout the year
Role Overview
- Works as part of an interdisciplinary team providing and managing patient care
- May float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Patient ratio: 3:1
- Cases include outpatient surgeries and infusion patients
- Infusion medications may include blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, and antibiotics; no chemotherapy
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility; local candidates may be accepted in Madison with a 10% rate reduction
