IV Therapy Vascular Access Team
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Every other weekend required
- Traveler must be open to floating to different campuses and units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Vascular Access (1 year of experience)
- Vascular Access experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart Stroke Foundation
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- IV Certification
- Midline IV competency
- Ultrasound guided peripheral IV access competency
Role Focus
- Perform difficult or long-term vascular access sticks
- Float to different units to support vascular access needs
Important Employment Note
- Previous permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify for this travel position
