Registered Nurse — Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby / Postpartum
Location
- Princeton, West Virginia
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend
- Holiday coverage: either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day
- Call requirement: 3–4 call shifts in a 6-week schedule, with a 30-minute response time
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license
- Basic Fetal Monitoring certification
- BLS certification
- Ability to titrate drips
- Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines
- Experience with antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Preferred
- Ability to circulate and recover cesarean sections
Unit Details
- Labor & delivery / postpartum / mother-baby unit
- 12 labor & delivery beds
- 1 OR suite
- 1 triage bed
- 4 postpartum beds
- Approximately 80–100 births per year
- AWHONN ratios followed
- OB techs on the unit
- No OB/neonatologist in house 24/7
- Telemetry available; monitor techs are present, and RNs read strips
- RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilator support

- 100-mile radius rule applies
- Unexpired driver’s license must be included with submission
