Physical Therapist
Location
- Waimea, Hawaii
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Contract employment
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Lunch break: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- Hours per week: 32
Setting
- Inpatient and outpatient mix
- Inpatient areas include acute care, ICU, SNF, ER, Med/Surg, observation, and occasionally OB
- Outpatient work is hospital-based
Role Summary
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments
- Provide care across outpatient diagnoses and inpatient mobility progression
- Support discharge planning
- Work independently in a rural setting
- Patient volume may range from 5 to 15 per day
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Hawaii
- Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
Additional Notes
- Holiday pay applies for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
- Arrival date on the island and remaining compliance items must be communicated after confirmation
