Job Overview

  • Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Shift: Day shift, 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends or holidays
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Pre/Post Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • Pre/Post Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • ACLS
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • EKG Exam
  • PassFail Testing (EKG)
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
  • Experience with Epic

Unit / Patient Population

  • Patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures, including:
    • TEE/cardioversions
    • PCI
    • Diagnostic heart catheterization
    • Peripheral vascular percutaneous procedures
    • Pacemaker procedures
    • Cardiac ablation
    • Structural heart procedures
    • Loop recorder insertions

  • EPIC familiarity is listed in the source
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
  • Candidate must be flexible with scheduling
  • Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST on the Wednesday before start date

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
