Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location

Murphysboro, Illinois

Schedule

Nights
36 hours per week
3 shifts per week
7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS

Role Overview

Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care with the multidisciplinary team
Provide health teaching and counseling to support patient health
Use clinical judgment and critical thinking to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Document care accurately and on time in the medical record
Support patient safety and quality of care through policy and procedure development
Supervise and delegate to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistant personnel
Advocate for patients by communicating and collaborating with other health service professionals

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
