Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse
Job Overview

- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics CVICU (1 year of experience)
- Pediatrics CVICU experience within the last year
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
- PALS
- NIHSS
Additional Requirements
- 2 professional references within the last 2 years
- Work history verification covering the last 3 years
- Background check required
- Education verification required
- Drug screen required within 45 days of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years
- TB testing within 90 days of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation required
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- Florida AHCA fingerprint clearance required before start
Onboarding / Compliance Notes
- Orientation is held on Mondays and Wednesdays
- Unit-specific competency and skills checklist are required
- Medication/pharmacology testing is required during onboarding
- Facility onboarding tasks must be completed promptly before first day
