Overview
- Travel/contract registered nurse role in Walla Walla, Washington
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- First-time traveler accepted
- No floating
- No on-call
- Rotating weekends required
- Block scheduling required
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- 48 hours approved
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- 3rd-party education verification required
- NURSYS verification required for RNs
- Washington state patrol search required within 90 days of start
- Employment application must include at least the last 5 years of employment
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

- Short-term acute care, Level III trauma center
- 104 staffed beds
- Epic charting

- Government-issued photo ID required
- Social Security card required as applicable for I-9
- E-Verify attestation required
- Background check required within 90 days of start and must cover all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years
- Drug screen required within 12 months of start
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit mask required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
- Respiratory safety clearance required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
- TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, flu, and COVID documentation are required per standard onboarding rules
- Parking is free
- Scrubs may be any color
