Location

  • Tuba City, Arizona

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
  • On-call required

Role Summary

  • Perioperative clinical nurse providing care for surgical patients
  • Expected to circulate in specialty areas including orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, general surgery, ophthalmology, and dental
  • Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged
  • May need to work varied or odd hours when on call and respond to emergency cases on short notice

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arizona
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS

Additional Required Credentials During Employment

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) within 1 year of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 2 years of hire

Housing

  • Limited shared housing is available at $600 per month, based on availability
  • No family or pets allowed

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
