RN Post Acute LTC
Overview

Role Summary
- The RN provides direct and indirect care in a therapeutic environment for residents across long-term care and rehabilitation units.
- The role may involve care for residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia, short-term skilled nursing and rehab patients, and long-term care residents.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Maine
- Long Term Care (2 years of experience)
- Long Term Care experience within the last year
Preferred
- 1–3 years of previous RN experience
- Medical terminology
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team of care providers
- Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
Additional Notes
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
- Previous employees are not accepted.
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- The assignment may be canceled up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
