Role Summary

• The RN provides direct and indirect care in a therapeutic environment for residents across long-term care and rehabilitation units.
• The role may involve care for residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia, short-term skilled nursing and rehab patients, and long-term care residents.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Maine
• Long Term Care (2 years of experience)
• Long Term Care experience within the last year

Preferred

• 1–3 years of previous RN experience
• Medical terminology
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team of care providers
• Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed

Additional Notes

• Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
• Previous employees are not accepted.
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
• The assignment may be canceled up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
