ER Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Wichita Falls, Texas
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Start date: 8/24
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: 36/48-hour alternating schedule
- Hours: 36 hours per week; facility schedules 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
- Shift times: 12:00 PM–12:00 AM or 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- TNCC
- NIH Stroke Certification
Additional Notes
- Facility will schedule RNs on a repeating weekly pattern with an opportunity to pick up shifts
- Government-issued photo ID required
- E-Verify or attestation required
- Background check required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening required within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG screening required within 30 days of start
- Competency exam required
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start and within 72 hours of signing contract
- TB screening required within 72 hours of signing contract
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap, drug testing, flu vaccination/documentation, and COVID vaccination documentation are required
- 2 references required within 3 years of start
- Resume/application required
- Skills checklist required
- Parking policy acknowledgment required before start
