Speech Language Pathologist

Job Overview

Location: Saint Cloud, Minnesota
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Setting: Acute care hospital
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours
Hours: 8:00–16:30
Weekly hours: 40

Required Qualifications

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Minnesota
Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience)
Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Acute care experience
Bedside swallow evaluations and treatments experience

Preferred Qualifications

Video fluoroscopy swallow evaluation experience

Schedule Requirements

Every 5th weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, is required

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Candidates must live more than 25 miles from the facility
Finalized requested time off must be included with submission
No requested time off is allowed during the first week of the assignment
No more than 10 days of requested time off per assignment
Floating within scope may be required based on facility needs
On-call needs are to be determined by the unit
Contract length: 13 weeks

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
