Mammography Tech
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Newberg, Oregon
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- First-time travelers are accepted
- No floating, on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
- Expected patient ratio: 1:1
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Oregon
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- Mammography Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Education verification is required
- Background check is required
- Employment application is required and must include at least the last 5 years of employment
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Skills checklist is required for the applicable unit
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray documentation
- Tdap within 10 years
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, flu season, COVID, and drug screening documentation are required as applicable per source requirements
- Respiratory safety clearance is required for travel candidates
- Fit mask testing is required for travel candidates
- Photo for badge is required
Work Setting
- Short-term acute care
- Level IV trauma center
- 60 staffed beds

- Epic charting is used
- Scrub color: any color or business casual
