Registered Nurse – Surgery

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in New Mexico
  • Perioperative experience within the last year
  • 1 year of perioperative experience
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS

Job Details

  • Weekend work required
  • On-call required
  • Floating required

Role Summary

  • Coordinates and implements patient care for the assigned unit
  • Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops and updates care plans, and documents interventions
  • Participates in patient education and discharge planning
  • Performs point-of-care testing
  • Supports unit teamwork, orientation of new staff/students, and a positive patient experience

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
