Registered Nurse — Labor & Delivery
Location
- New Lenox, Illinois
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Temp position
- Nights, 12-hour shifts
Role Summary
- Provides labor and delivery care for women during childbirth
- Monitors mother and baby
- Coaches mothers during labor
- Assists physicians
- Supports breastfeeding education after birth
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- ACLS
Preferred
- Travel experience
Unit Notes
- Birthing center averages 200 births per month
- Patient ratios: 2:1 during labor, 1:1 for delivery or C-section, 2:1 for epidurals and IV Pitocin
