Job Overview
- Location: Rio Rico, Arizona
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Role Focus
- Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and technicians
- Support injured-worker care, return-to-work planning, post-offer testing, work hardening, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic/job analysis
- Handle scheduling, referrals, billing code use, and communication with referring physicians and rehab nurses
- Participate in marketing, business development, and community outreach
