Physical Therapist Outpatient

Job Overview

Location: Rio Rico, Arizona
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Drug screen within 1 year of start
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start

Role Focus

Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients
Supervise physical therapy assistants and technicians
Support injured-worker care, return-to-work planning, post-offer testing, work hardening, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic/job analysis
Handle scheduling, referrals, billing code use, and communication with referring physicians and rehab nurses
Participate in marketing, business development, and community outreach

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
