EP Lab RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- 30-week assignment
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- No weekend, on-call, or floating requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- 2 years of RN experience in an Electrophysiology Lab
- EPIC experience
Required Skills
- Cardiac cath lab procedures, including pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal and Watchman procedure
- Electrophysiology procedures, including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage closure, and pacemaker insertion
- Medication management for antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Ability to obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG
- Patient education focused on lifestyle and medication adherence
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives
