Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT (MR)
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience working with Geriatric patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Adolescent patients
- Experience working with Infant patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Experience in an Outpatient setting
- Experience with Epic
Scheduling Notes
- Shift days are Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- All requested time off and special scheduling requests must be submitted with the application and are only accommodated if approved at booking
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Local candidates are accepted within the stated radius rule
- Floating is required to other qualified and trained units/campuses based on census
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Adult acute care and outpatient MRI experience across all age groups, from neonate through older adult
- MRI imaging of chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, musculoskeletal trauma, and spine, with and without contrast
- Contrast media preparation and administration
- Peripheral IV starts
- Isolation precautions
Charting / Systems
- 1 year of Epic experience required
Compliance / Pre-Start Items
- Driver’s license or state ID required for computer access and must be carried while on duty
- E-Verify or attestation required
- Background check required
- Federal exclusion and sanctions checks required
- OFAC sanctions list search required
- Education verification required
- Orientation safety/HIPAA acknowledgment required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit mask / respirator fit testing required onsite during orientation
- TB screening required
- Drug screening required within 1 year of start and updated annually
- Flu vaccine documentation or approved exemption required
- Employment application must include 7-year work history
- Badge photo required
- Online orientation modules and pre-assignment testing are required before start
