Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
- Experience with medication titration, including amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban
Schedule / Assignment Details
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Orientation includes 16 hours
- Summer holidays: required to work 1–2 of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
Additional Notes
- At least 1 travel contract completed is preferred
- EPIC is used as the EMR
