Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Issaquah, Washington
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
- Floating may be required to postpartum or NICU based on skill set
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington RN license
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- FHM
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Epic experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Clinical Setting
- Labor and preterm labor patient population
- 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
- Responsibilities include circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low-risk antepartum, and low-risk labor and delivery
- Common procedures include blood and blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket use, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac management, and heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate administration
- Care includes attending all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, plus gynecologic surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery support
