Job Overview
- Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Setting: Short-term acute care, Level III trauma center, teaching hospital
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units
- First-time travelers accepted
- Travel pairs are not accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager’s discretion
Additional Notes
- Ratios: 1:4–5
- Guaranteed hours apply after the call-off policy threshold is met
- Return-to-travel policy applies after 1 year away
- The system has a 2-contract limit; after extending once, the traveler must be away for 6 months before returning
