Operating Room RN - Pediatrics
Job Overview
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Shift: Weekdays, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- Schedule: 5/8s
Role Summary
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Support circulating nurse responsibilities, including patient monitoring and documentation in the electronic health record.
- Support scrub nurse responsibilities by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support surgical workflow and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS issued by American Heart Association.
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year.
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience).
- Driver's License.
Preferred Experience
- 1+ year of operating room RN experience
- Pediatric operating room RN experience is a plus
