Description

Ultrasound Sonographer

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with very limited call


Job Description

  • Perform ultrasound imaging procedures as an Ultrasonographer.
  • Work a standard 5x8 schedule with limited on-call responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Ultrasound Technologist license in New Hampshire.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year.
  • ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

  • Primary source verification of professional license and certifications within 30 days of start date.
  • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required.
  • Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) or proof of immunity via blood test.
  • TB test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months; if positive, chest x-ray documentation required.
  • Physician health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months.
  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including county and international residence/travel history for last 7 years.
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start, updated annually.
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days of start and annually.
  • New Hampshire state-specific criminal background and BAAS checks within 30 days prior to start, updated if break >30 days.
  • Education verification of highest level achieved.
  • Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset.
  • Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment.
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions.
  • Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documentation.
  • Beeline attestation completed after registration.

Additional Notes

  • No fit testing (initial or updates) can be done onsite; must be completed using the designated form.
  • Fit test updates can be done at specific locations if assignment is extended.
  • All credential and background checks must be vetted through security for final approval.
  • This position requires compliance with all outlined health and professional credentialing standards prior to start.

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
